Companies that reach 52 years did not get there by luck. They got there through choices, repeated every day, by many people, over a long period of time. .KURZ Brazil has navigated different economic plans, technological transformations, changes in government and, more recently, a world that has accelerated in an unprecedented way. In each of these moments, the company made a choice: to move forward with ethics, consistency and a long-term focus.Anniversaries are not only about looking back. Above all, they are about naming the present and imagining the future. The present moment of KURZ Brazil is, to me, the most strategic one in the 27 years I have been experiencing this journey up close. And the future can go even further.A historic return: Brazil leads Latin America once againFew people know this, but this is not the first time Brazil has held a central role in the KURZ Group’s regional operation. Decades ago, the Brazilian subsidiary had already been responsible for all of South and Central America. Over time, this role gradually faded as the Group centralized operations and decisions in Europe. The problem is that centralizing on the other side of the Atlantic has a real cost: distance from local reality and loss of connection with markets that operate according to completely different dynamics than European ones. The world has changed that equation.Challenges in Europe have increased significantly. The geopolitical context has transformed the global equation. And in this scenario, Latin America has returned to the map as a strategic priority for the KURZ Group.Brazil has been called back to lead the region. And with that, we have begun work that is not simple, but is essential: rebuilding the foundations. Regaining the trust of local agents. Formalizing processes. Showing presence, competence and the ability to coordinate a regional operation with the seriousness required by the Group.Paraguay, for example, is now one of our priority focuses. And the logic guiding this movement is not competition: it is cooperation. Latin American unity, not fragmentation.52 years of experience at the service of a new beginningIt may seem paradoxical to celebrate 52 years while talking about rebuilding. But it is exactly the opposite: it is because we have 52 years behind us that we are capable of rebuilding. We have a reputation built over decades. We have infrastructure. We have a business model tested and adapted to the specificities of the Latin American market, which often has nothing to do with the needs of other regions. And above all, we have a team that has already proven it knows how to deliver. What we did before in the region, we will do again, better, with greater strategic awareness and with a vision that goes far beyond Brazil’s borders.Read more: 5 reflexões sobre o papel das grandes feiras na transformação da indústria gráficaA globally recognized modelThere is something that the numbers confirm and that everyday work demonstrates: the model we have built in Brazil works. For the fourth consecutive year, KURZ Brazil is the highest-rated subsidiary among all operations of the Group worldwide. This recognition is not the result of favorable circumstances: it is the consequence of consistent decisions made over time.We have learned that the right answers for our market do not come ready-made from outside. They come from a deep understanding of local reality, from the flexibility to adapt the best of global technology to the demands of a market that requires speed, proximity, creativity and that is constantly moving, all the time. This accumulated learning is one of our greatest assets. And it is what gives us the confidence to assume regional management. Crisis as opportunity: the message for our teamOver 52 years, KURZ Brazil has gone through many difficult moments. And the most consistent lesson from this journey is simple: crisis is an opportunity for change. The moments of greatest transformation have always come from adverse contexts. And they have always been overcome through the same combination: ethics, consistency and a sharp team that believes in what it is building.I want this message to reach every KURZ Brazil employee very clearly: the moment we are living is one of strategic protagonism. When the company grows in Latin America, it is not only the company that grows. Everyone who is part of this structure also expands their role.It is not an easy path. But it is an opportunity that few companies and few professionals have the chance to experience. Principles that endure across decadesWhat gives me confidence as I look toward the coming years is not the external conditions which, let’s be honest, will continue to be challenging. What gives me confidence are our solid principles, which have endured for 52 years without changing: What gives me confidence are our solid principles, which have endured for 52 years without changing:Absolute respect for the rules of the game in every market where we operate; refusal to take shortcuts that compromise reputation; decisions made with a long-term vision; genuine care for the people who are part of the operation. And all of this ultimately sustains relationships of trust with clients, partners, regional agents and the KURZ Group itself.A thank-you to those who build this story52 years is not the work of one person, nor of one management team. It is the result of many people, over a long period of time, making the right choice, even when it was not the easiest one.I want to thank:Every KURZ Brazil employee, in production, in the office, in the field and in support; the regional partners and agents who walk alongside us in rebuilding our Latin American presence; the clients who trust our technology, our ethics and our ability to innovate; and our colleagues in the KURZ Group around the world who believe in Brazil’s potential as the HUB for the region. The next chapter is being written now. And it has everything it needs to be the best one yet. Thank you for being part of this story.
